Brianne Lynn's Story
"I grew up in the Seattle area where I was influenced by a wide variety of music and began writing poems and stories as soon as I could write. At age 10, I was given a $52 Hondo guitar that was purchased by a friend of the family for my 10th birthday. It was then that I started putting my poems to music and I called them songs! Fast forward to when I was about 20, I flew to Nashville for the 2nd time and underwent some training to become a Coordinator for the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Shortly thereafter, I started an NSAI Chapter in Twin Falls, Idaho. NSAI really opened my eyes, broadened my view and gave me the tools, resources and education that every amature songwriter deserves. By being a Coordinator, I was able to meet other local writers and musicians like myself and show them the resources NSAI has available. Our chapter has provided a lot of educational and performance opportunities for aspiring songwriters. Today, I still serve as a Workshop Coordinator for our local NSAI chapter. In the past few years, I have stayed quite busy as a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of 3 sweet, young boys. I am eternally grateful for a loving, supportive husband and family that encourages my crazy music adventure. I stay close to home and don't travel far for shows so I can still kiss my boys goodnight. Being from Seattle, I do miss the lush green grass and trees and all the water but I call Southern Idaho home because this is where my family is and my family just sparkles like diamonds in this dry desert and that's what makes this place beautiful to me."
I have had the privilege of writing with Nashville's Sandy Ramos and A.J. Masters as well as some co-writing friends closer to home including Matt Marsh, Judy Webster and up-and-coming Singer/Songwriter Devin Rae and many others.
My fans compare me to Joan Baez and Alison Krauss so mix those two amazing women together and that will give you a good idea of my style and sound. Better yet, catch me at a live event. You can find me at local open mic nights, coffee shops, The Brickhouse, The Twin Falls Sandwich Company, Maxie’s Pizza & Pasta in Kimberly, Canyon Crest Dining & Events Center, The Anchor Bistro & Bar, The Twin Falls Center for the Arts and local community events like First Friday Music in Downtown Twin Falls at Hands On, Twin Falls Oktoberfest, The Twin Falls County Fair, The Twin Falls and Ketchum Farmers Markets and Twin Falls Western Days.
Some of my fans top requests are my song Angels Jumping Fences, Dolly Parton’s Jolene, John Denver’s Country Roads, and The Carpenter's Top of the World. I love to play a wide variety of music. Come to a show and you'll hear everything from Patsy Cline to Simon & Garfunkel and Adele.
